Bishan singh Bedi’s favourite word was “integrity.”
Bedi was recovering from a major surgery & was taking rest in his delhi based farmhouse. He had slowed down, yet he hadn’t lost his sense of mischief with humrous effect to it.
The great spinner who was very down to earth always, frustrated as his speech couldn’t keep up with his thoughts lately.
“I am exercising more now than I did in my playing days,” he said.
Bedi’s wisdom, integrity, his insistence on calling a spade by its name to all and his abiding respect for the game often got him into trouble many a times. He always spoke his mind with a kind heart, diplomacy was an alien concept for him. Yet, even if you didn’t agree with him, you knew his ideas came from a place of purity and concern for you.
Rest in peace champion... We surely going to miss you..
